Grove-ing in Cavite

I’ve been exploring up north so it was time for me to discover part of the south. Travelling south was really fun and to save money, I did it riding thru a bus. I was pumped up since I haven’t gone to CALABARZON Region. Coincindentally, my cousin’s aunt is staying in Bacoor, so, I stayed with them. I rode a jeep from Bacoor to Dasmarinas and then a trike from Dasma to I forget the name of the place and I hailed a bus going to Tagaytay. The fare was affordable, I paid around PhP70. When I arrived in Tagaytay, it was cold and breezy. It was a good weather to see the city but it took me 2 hours from Bacoor to Tagaytay so I had my lunch first.

After that, I went to People’s Park in the Sky to have a great view of Taal Volcano.

Then I headed to Tagaytay’s Picnic Grove thru a trike for PhP10 per passenger.

Tagaytay’s Picnic Grove is a great place to view the Taal Volcano. It offers a variety of activities where you can have fun the whole day within the grove. You can have an adrenaline rush by riding their zipline and cable car, you can also try the horseback riding for PhP200 but you can try to negotiate the price and my bargaining skill worked and brought it down to PhP150 with additional package of the adventure trail. And of course, you can have a picnic since it has a wider space like a football field and they also have cottages where you can rent. Price ranges from PhP150 to 250. But I didn’t get a cottage coz the place is so big that it is better to wander and take those great picturesque view. I had fun and I’ve tried riding the horse without someone assisting me. I know now how to guide the horse to turn left or right and of course how to stop. It was definitely a grove-ing experience in Cavite.
